Andrea Canepa, known as ‘Drew’ was born in Milan in 1998. Grew up in a musical environment, the first music he was exposed to as a child came from his father’s record collection, including records from artists like Double Exposure, First Choice, MFSB and Ashford & Simpson. Soon he developed a deep interest in disco, soul and funk music, falling in love with the so called ‘Philly Sound’ and the father of house music, Frankie Knuckles. When at the high school he started performing at small parties and clubs in Milan, experimenting with tech house and house music. In the last two years he has been invited by Keep On Groovin to play alongside artists like Memoryman, Eternal Love, Marcel Vogel.
